Cuyamaca College students last night put on their annual Winter Wonder Jam, a holiday-themed musical concert, sponsored by the college's performing arts department. Students studying the music industry ran the show mixing audio, running lights, and managing the bands.

The concert, held in the college's Performing Arts Theatre, featured four bands—Subliminal Trip, Disordered, Wooly Mammal and Jester James—that ranged in style from progressive folk and alternative rock to reggae. All proceeds will  go to support the department's music industry program.

The music industry program combines classes in music, technology and business to prepare students for careers in the music industry. It also provides students with hands-on experience in concert production, artist promotion, publicity and audio recording.
