Deputy Felix Santiesteban of the Lemon Grove Station will be recognized for getting drunken drivers off of the road.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), San Diego will be honoring dozens of local law enforcement officers—including a deputy from the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Station—for their work in keeping intoxicated drivers off of the streets.

Deputy Felix Santiesteban, who was honored by the organization last year as well, is one of 33 officers from throughout the county being recognized as Outstanding DUI Officers of the Year. Eleven officers are also receiving the 2011 Century Award for netting 100 DUI arrests or more.

The winners will be honored at a Wednesday ceremony at the Town and Country Resort.
