This week features a variety of locally grown, organic produce including cone cabbage, Napa cabbage, kale, collards, celery, bok choy, beets, rainbow chard, spinach chard, carrots, oranges, lemons and cilantro.
Scott Caneday says he's taking special requests for produce for future weeks. Tell him what you'd like to put on your plate, and he'll try to track it down. You can't beat the prices!
All the produce is grown in San Diego County—much right here in Lemon Grove—and is 100 percent organic.
The farm stand will be open all Fridays when school is in session from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.on the front lawn.

Golden Avenue, the district's school closest to downtown Lemon Grove, focuses on health and fitness with its comprehensive wellness program and a before-school jogging club.
