Calling All Lemon Grove Residents Looking to Make a Difference!

The Resident Leadership Academy is recruiting community members interested in joining the organization in 2013.

Lemon Grove residents looking to get more involved in community happenings are being sought Wednesday at a specail recruiteing meeting.

The meeting is being hosted by the Lemon Grove HEAL Zone Resident Leadership Academy (RLA), as a "meet and greet" type session.

Current members of the RLA will be on hand at the Lemon Grove Library, 8073 Broadway, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., to enlighten those interested in joining the group in 2013.

"You would be surprised to discover all the Lemon Grover’s interested in learning how to engage in the decision-making process to creating positive changes in the Grove," organizer Melanie Briones said.
