Celebrate with Lemon Grove Relay for Life Saturday at Palm Middle School

The 24-hour event honors and remembers patients, raises funds for the American Cancer Society.

The community will come together as one to celebrate life and support the fight against cancer during the seventh annual Lemon Grove Relay for Life.

The 24-hour event takes place at Palm Middle School this year, with walkers on the track around the clock to illustrate the all too painful reality that cancer never sleeps.

“The Road to Hope” will kick off with an opening ceremony at 9 a.m. Saturday at the school. As is tradition, cancer survivors, dressed in honorary purple T-shirts, and their caregivers will take the inaugural lap on the field.
