Five things you need to know.

What's happening today? Well ...

3. The Lutheran Church of Lemon Grove holds a free soup dinner every Monday night, from 5-7 p.m. What kind of soup tonight? You'll have to go to find out.

4. I love the Lemon Grove Library. Do you? It's hidden away in a little strip mall, but they do so much more than just rent out books for free. For example, every Monday and Wednesday there is a multilevel ESL (English as a Second Language) class from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Sponsored by the Grossmont Adult School and open to everyone who wishes to learn English. Free.
