'It's Book Time With Ronald McDonald' to Visit the Lemon Grove Library

The program teaches young readers about library use, book care, and the importance of reading.

The world's most famous redhead is coming to Lemon Grove to inspire children to read. Ronald McDonald—yes, the Ronald McDonald—will appear at the Lemon Grove Library with a show that uses magic, music, puppets and audience participation to teach kids about the joys of reading.

"It's Book Time With Ronald McDonald" is a 45-minute presentation designed for children in kindergarden through third grade. With a message that books open up a world of imagination, children are introduced to the concept of setting aside time to read each day and learn how to use the library and care for the books they check out.

Join the fun at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the library, 3001 School Lane. The program is free.

Ronald is making stops all around the county. If you miss this show, or just want to catch another, there are plenty of other dates and branches from which to choose.
