The Relay for Life of Lemon Grove 2013 is hosting a spring event titled The Road to Hope Fashion Show and Tea on April 13.
The event honors cancer survivors, so ladies are encouraged to wear their prettiest hat and bring their most interesting teacup and compete for a prize, organizers said.
Admission is a $5 donation. But cancer survivors will be admitted free.
There will be a video slide presentation in celebration of survivors and to remember loved ones whose life journey ended due to cancer, organizers said.
Guests are welcomed to send photos to include in the slide show. Jpeg copies of photos can be sent plsaywlldn@yahoo.com. Organizers ask that each photo submitted be labeled as “Survivor” or “In Memory” and that name, city and state be included.
The event is scheduled from 11 – 1:30 p.m. will held be held at Fellowship Hall of the North Park Apostolic Church, 2515 Lemon Grove Ave. in Lemon Grove.
