Children of all ages enjoyed celebrating Easter at a free festival Saturday that was hosted by the and
Pastor Ula Tausaga kept everyone in order until his final countdown of “three, two, one” sent children dashing across the church lawn to fill their baskets with as many Easter eggs and they could pick up. Prizes were awarded to those whose eggs had a special ticket inside.
Hot dogs, nachos, a chicken lunch, and sweets were available for a nominal price. Cotton candy and popcorn were free.
Church ministries support the community with a food pantry, and a twice monthly that serves hundreds of people locally and in the region. They also host , a free community meal each week.
