Photos: Girl Scouts Help Clean Up Lemon Grove

Troop lends a hand to revitalizing the area near Monterey Heights Park.

Local Girl Scouts pitched in to help revitalize the area near Monterey Heights Park off Nichals Street during a community clean-up event earlier this month.

The troop was part of a group that cleared the area of hundreds of pounds of illegally dumped trash, debris, and other items including furniture, Christmas trees, and a brand-new flat-screen TV, according to leader Alana Snyder.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make Lemon Grove a better place to live.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
