Spring Valley Library Celebrates Hispanic Heritage

The library will host a celebration on Sept. 21 that will include dancers, music, games and a car display.

In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Spring Valley branch of the San Diego County Library is hosting its annual Fiesta on Sept. 21.

The event will feature Folklorico dancers and music from several groups, including the Headstart Youth and La Pressa Middle School. Light refreshments will be available. Guests will be able to browse through a number of informational booths.

Library officials have also scheduled face painting, health screenings, Laser Tag, henna tattoos and a Low-Rider car display.

The event is scheduled from 1–4 p.m. at the Spring Valley Branch Library, 836 Kempton St. Officials remind patrons that parking is limited. For more information, you may call (619) 463-3006.
