Wellness Expo Offers Free Screenings in Lemon Grove

A Health & Wellness Expo presented by Union Bank is scheduled for Oct. 18.

The city of Lemon Grove is helping promote a Health & Wellness Expo that will be presented by Union Bank.

This event is expected to provide guests helpful tips on physical activity, nutrition, financial fitness and how to live a long and healthy life, organizers said.

“You will also have an opportunity to check your blood pressure, get BMI (Body Mass Index) screenings and obtain free heart health education to see if you’re on track to a healthier lifestyle,” organizers said through a written announcement.

Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the nation, organizers added.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at the Union Bank Lemon Grove Branch, 3285 Lemon Grove Ave.
