Get Out This Labor Day Weekend

Your Patch guide to weekend happiness.

It’s Labor Day Weekend! Are you excited for the long weekend ahead? Or are you mourning the unofficial death of summer that comes with it? We say enjoy it while you can and get out with this weekend’s best bets we picked for you. Hope you have a fantastic holiday weekend.

Lemon Grove and beyond have some fun activities planned for Sept. 2-5. Stay close to home for some fresh produce to cook up on Labor Day, bluegrass on the green and local talent with a buzz. Venture out a little farther and you’ll stay busy with hundreds of insects, a grape stomp and the last of the summer concert series at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. An Eagle Scout in Santee is looking for help with a project on Saturday.
