Saldana plays Cataleya, named for a Colombian orchid, who is witness to the slaughter of her parents by a mobster. Trained in the killing arts by her gangster uncle, Cataleya grows up stone cold and highly motivated. Fans of this particular brand of action genre will recognize the touch of Luc Besson, creator of La Femme Nikita and The Professional.
But for all the gunfire and ingenuity, Cataleya is a killer with a soft heart, on a violent mission to set her world right.
