Renown landscape artist Ellen Glasgow will exhibit her latest show next month at the Lemon Grove Library.

Drawing on inspiration gathered during leisure time time spent on a cruise through the Inside Passage of Alaska, Glasgow presents pristine forests, mountains and glaciers that evoke mist and soft rain to lend a "special delicate quality and color to every part of the day and night."

Glasgow's exhibit, Inside Passage, is a series of monotypes, or one-of-a-kind print, and oil paintings. And though she usually works in oil, gouache, pastel, and the monotype, for this exhibit she included prints on Japanese rice and mulberry papers

"The Inside Passage has always held a dream-like fascination for me and a desire to return to this beautiful and isolated area," said Glasgow.
