Vintage WWII Bombers at Gillespie Field Air Show

Your Patch guide to the pursuit of happiness.

Are you thrilled to be cruising to the end of a short week, or in three-day weekend letdown mode? Glass half empty, or half full?

Either way, the goings on from June 2 to June 8 should lighten your mood or keep your already-raised spirits nicely elevated. Take the kids to see planes their great-grandparents might have flown or play some pool to support little ones who are ailing.

To complete our guide to what to do in Lemon Grove and beyond, a prominent author visits La Jolla and golfers step on the green to help out Helix Charter High.
