Food Distribution

The Lemon Grove Lutheran Church and Samoan Independent Full Gospel Church have the county's largest free-food distributions twice a month.

On the first Friday of each month, the distribution is for Lemon Grove residents only and may attract 200 to 300 people.

People start lining up by sunrise and volunteers start arriving around 7 a.m. to bag and organize the food. The hand-out begins at 9 a.m. through noon.
