Today at Summer Camp we continued our “camping” themed week with a Lightning Bug art project! While we aren’t fortunate enough to have lightning bugs here, many of the children have traveled to places in the US where they do have lightning bugs so they were very excited to make their own. Coming from West Virginia, catching lightning bugs was a huge part of my childhood and my own children have had the joy of keeping lightning bugs overnight in a mason jar on their visits to see Nana and Papa. www.MCHLG.com
