Later in the day on Thursday a cold storm is expected to hit the county, bringing showers and a chance of snow in higher elevations, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS reports that a low pressure system is moving in from the north, bringing cooler weather through Saturday.
"Snow levels could lower to near 4,000 feet for late Friday through early Saturday,'' NWS advised.
The chance of on Thursday is slim (20 percent), but is more likely Friday and Saturday, with a chance of thunderstorms, according to predictions. Precipitation levels are predicted to be between a half inch and an inch.
Thursday's high of 64 and low of 48 will drop by about 7 degrees during the cold storm.
A high wind warning is also in effect for the mountains and deserts until 8 p.m., according to the Weather Service.
