Got Junk? Free Bulky Waste Disposal Event in Lemon Grove

The city is hosting a "winter clean-up" event this Saturday and it's free to Lemon Grove residents.

The city of Lemon Grove wants you to know about a free bulky waste disposal event that's happening this weekend.

The event will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Civic Center Park, 3200 Main Street, according to an announcement sent out by the city on Tuesday.

From 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., you're invited to drop off things like:

  • Furniture
  • Large appliances
  • Metals
  • Empty bottles/containers
  • Green waste
  • E-Waste (computers, cell phones, electronics, etc.)

Things that will not be accepted include: medical waste, tires, motor oil, batteries, light bulbs, bio-hazards, paint, solvents and commercial/business waste.

The event is hosted by EDCO waste & recycling services, and is open to Lemon Grove residents only, according to the city.
