Have Mercy! Lemon Grove Team Defeats Montana 18-1

There's a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Coop's West Texas Barbeque.

The Lemon Grove Senior League All-Stars are burning up the field as they fight it out for the Western Regional title. The baseball team took a wicked 18-1 win in Game 1 against Montana yesterday at Jay Littleton Ballpark in Ontario, CA.

The All-Stars scored the 18 runs in five innings, and the game was ended on the mercy rule, according to David Doane of the Lemon Grove Little League.

Winning pitcher Frankie Nunez was relieved by Brandon Weed and James Kelly,  and Ray Peterson had a big game with the bat, Doane said.

Doane also noted that all pitchers had pitch counts under 40 pitches, which allows them to pitch with only one day of rest.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
