Here's What's Happening on Presidents Day

Which buildings will be closed for the holiday? Will trash be collected? These answers and more.

Just in time for Presidents Day, a new poll has named one of the nation's chief executives as the "greatest president." Which POTUS did the Gallup Poll say is No. 1? Find out here. (Not to be spoilerish, but it's not George Washington -- our first President ranked fifth in the poll.)

The Father of Our Country is at the top of our list today, however. Here's what you need to know about the holiday:

The federal holiday in observance of Washington's Birthday will close government offices on Monday. All schools in the Lemon Grove School District will take the day off for Presidents Day, and the doors of city hall and all county buildings will be shut as well.

The Lemon Grove Branch Library will be closed and the post office will be dark. There will not be any mail delivery on Monday.

Trash will be collected on its normal schedule.

If you're planning on using the day off to go play in the snow, the CHP says chains are required on all vehicles traveling on Sunrise Highway to Mount Laguna. No chains, no snow. Vehicles without the devices will be turned back.

The National Weather Service says we can expect the day to be mostly sunny, with a high near 59° F.
