Rain Expected to Linger Through the Weekend

High surf and patchy fog are in the forecast through Sunday.

November ended with a splash in San Diego County as a trough of low pressure brought scattered showers that are expected to linger into early next week.

Saturday afternoon: Partly sunny, with a high near 66. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

Saturday night: Patchy fog after 10pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 61. North wind around 5 mph.

Sunday: A 10 percent chance of showers after 4pm. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday night: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 10pm. Patchy fog after 10pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 59. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers before 10am. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 67. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the morning.

Monday night: Patchy fog after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.
