Rain ... Again

Forecasters predict rain throughout the day.

Hope you didn't put away your umbrella yet, because it's raining yet again. The National Weather Service forecast for Lemon Grove calls for moderate to heavy rain today, with most of it falling before 4 p.m., and occasional gusty winds.

It is not expected to be a heavy deluge like last week's, but this will be a cold storm. This storm could bring snow levels down to the 4,000-foot elevation, to entertain visitors to Julian and vex mountain-dwellers who will have to shovel snow once more.

Temperatures will drop as this storm moves in, with overnight temperatures predicted to be as low as 38 degrees in Lemon Grove on Thursday, and high temperatures throughout the week topping out somewhere in the 50s. Also, look for winds up to 20 miles per hour as the storm blows through.
