Community Corner

Grand Opening of the Main Street Promenade

Come one, come all to the big community party celebrating the completion of "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow," the Pioneer Modernism Park evoking Lemon Grove's history and welcoming our newest neighbors in town, the residents of Citronica One near the trolley depot on Main Street at Broadway and The Big Lemon.

Dancers, singers, street performers, games for children (hula hoop, bubble blowing, jump rope and whistling contests), free lemonade and cookies, the Lemon Grove Academy Marching Band, and more.

See the wonderful installations on the Promenade like the windmill, tractor slide, wind spire, mosaics, amusing seating and meet the folks who run our City, school district, service clubs, churches and youth groups.

Sponsored by the City of Lemon Grove and the Lemon Grove Historical Society, with special thanks to these generous donors: Cal Coast Design, Kimley-Horn & Associations, Minnali Engineering Corp., Ofield Family Trust, Robin Brailsford Art (list in progress).
