Pro Athletes Share How to Live Like Champions at Superfest

SuperFest, hosted by the Rock Church and Point Loma Nazarene University will provide the opportunity for young athletes to interact with professional athletes such as Gold Glove All-Star Adrian Gonzalez, Olympic Gold Medalist Allyson Felix, Former San Diego Charger Jacques Cesaire, San Diego Charger Darrell Stuckey, and Former Heavyweight Champion Chris Byrd. The athletes will share how to play and live like champions. The event which is FREE and open to the community will start at 9 AM at Point Loma Nazarene University.


These professionals and local college athletes will host sports clinics, games, and activities. They will also share performance tips on how to play baseball, football, soccer, boxing, volleyball, and more. Parents will be able to participate in yoga and pilates clinics.


In addition to Pro-Performance Tips, the athletes will share what drives them both on and off of the field. These talks will focus on how to live like a champion.

“SuperFest is a great time for young athletes to come and hear from the Pros on what's important on and off of the field.  I'm honored to be a part of such a great event,” said Cesaire describing the event.


Attendees will have the opportunity to win autographed items and other great prizes. The day will also include a special message from former Charger and Pastor, Miles McPherson.

Director of Sports at Rock Church Marcus Preciado, said "Superfest is a great opportunity for families, friends, and teams to simply come together and have a great time, while getting some great insight on how to play--and more importantly--live like champions."
