What is the Rotary's position on the measure to overturn the ban on medical marijuana dispensaries ? The public has a right to know whether this civic organization supports this effort or will recommend that their members vote against it ! Enquiring minds want to know ! I think that a list of the businesses that support the ban would be beneficial to the measures supporters as we can boycott those who oppose us. Perhaps the obstructionists at the Chamber of Commerce can supply one.

What a good idea. Yes, lets see who supports and opposes. Lets see if my money will be spent in LG or not. If the mmd are allowed, then my bucks stay in LG. If they are not allowed, then I'll do my talking by taking my business elsewhere, gas, banking, Sprouts, Food 4 Less, 7/11, printing. I'll even move my home/auto insurance to a friendlier location.

Usually civic organizations do not make political statements, or support one party. Their purpose is to serve the community. LG does not have have a Chamber of Commerce.

Yes, sad but true we ran ours into the ground. Let's see, isn't someone running for public office on that last Chamber of Commerce?
