Still finishing up your spring cleaning? Don't throw away your old shoes—donate them and put shoes on the feet of someone who would otherwise be barefoot.
The nonprofit group's name says it all—Donate Your Old Shoes. They take gently used shoes of all types and sizes—maybe those running shoes that don't cushion like they used to, or those cute sandals that have fallen out of favor—and give them to someone who needs them.
Big or small, plain or fancy, Donate Your Old Shoes will take them and "Put shoes on the shoeless worldwide."

Shoes are being collected through the month of June at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary. Drop off times are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
