Library, Local Churches Host Free Festivals for Halloween

Patch rounds up all the family fun with a guide to what's going on today in Lemon Grove.

Looking for a place to take the kids that's not so scary? The library and local churches are offering free festivals open to the entire community—and invite you to come out for the family fun!

Here’s what going on today in Lemon Grove:

A Halloween “Spooktacular” featuring a magic show, costume contest and refreshments will be held at the Lemon Grove Library from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. The event is free, and all are welcome.

A “Hallow-Lujah” party will be hosted by the Lemon Grove Lutheran Church with candy, food, games, music and family fun starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Organizers ask for funny costumes to be worn so nobody gets scared. The event is free, and all are welcome.

Games, food, jumpers, candy and photos will be offered at a Harvest Festival and Trunk or Treat starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Church of Lemon Grove. Family fun! The event is free, and all are welcome.

There is plenty of family fun on tap with games, prizes, food, a cake walk, and more at the Lemon Grove United Methodist Harvest Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The event is free, and all are welcome.
