Much like our previous exploding chalk bags, today we did our exploding painting baggies. Sophia got the baggies filled with paint and vinegar. When it was their turn, the children quickly added in the baking soda and Sophia sealed the bag. A little shake and then they put it on their paper! The baggies expanded until they finally popped open. The bubbling paint was exciting to watch as it exploded out. But the anticipation of waiting as we watch the baggie get bigger and bigger was so much fun! The art work is drying in the sun and will be ready for the children to take home this afternoon. www.MCHLG.com
