Lemon Grove Bakery Worker "Molly" Wassdahl Dies at 74

Malfrid "Molly" Lovseth Wassdahl was a longtime Lemon Grove resident who worked part-time at Lemon Grove Bakery, and her daughter Lillian Towers was a waitress at Lido's for 30 years.

Malfrid "Molly" Lovseth Wassdahl: April 21, 1938 - January 13, 2013

Malfrid passed away peacefully in her home in Lemon Grove.

Malfrid was born in Melhus, Norway and moved to the USA after marrying Easten Wassdahl in 1965. She is preceded in death on January 10, 1998, Easten Wassdahl of 33 years.

Malfrid was a homemaker that worked part-time at Lemon Grove Bakery for a number of years. Molly enjoyed reading, crosswords, Bingo and finding bargains when shopping. She was an avid animal lover and rallied for legislation to have greyhounds adopted after their racing career instead of being euthanized.
