Digital Photography Class in Focus at SDSU
– In today’s rapidly evolving digital age, photography techniques certainly are in continual change.
In keeping up with these constant modifications, the Professional Certificate in Digital and Social Media program through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will offer Photography in the Digital Age I, Saturdays, Sept. 21-Oct. 12, from 9 am-1 pm.

Students will shoot photos every week during class, learning to make adjustments to their images using Adobe Photoshop. They will also complete a short photo project outside of class. Through weekly critiques, students will learn from the instructor and their peers while developing their skills in discussing and thinking about visual literacy.

This certificate program is designed for professionals who would like to hone their skills in how to use multimedia tools and harness the interactive power of the Internet to build an audience. Students will receive training in how to build their own web presence, including a website, a blog, an audio slideshow, and a video; as well as develop skills in social networking and SEO.
