Poll: Should Companies Be Boycotted for the Political Views of Their Execs?

Latest blow-up concerns Chick-fil-A CEO’s comments against gay marriage and the reactions.

When Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy recently said, “We are very much supportive of the family—the biblical definition of the family unit,” he stirred the pot on gay marriage, igniting comments like those of San Diego Councilman Todd Gloria (who represents Hillcrest, a haven for gays): “I think it’s surprising that a well-run corporation would choose to ignore a huge group of consumers. That’s disappointing and, quite frankly, dumb.” Some are urging boycotts. But should McDonald’s and Carl’s Jr. (when they were run by Ray Kroc and Carl Karcher) have been targeted by Democrats?  Those owners were solid conservative as well.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
