Issue: Is Morgan Freeman a Rarity for Rejecting a Universe Creator?

Atheists posted billboard off state Route 94 west of Lemon Grove calling atheism a "personal relationship with reality."

Morgan Freeman, actor and science show host, told David Freeman of Huffington Post recently that: “Well, I really don’t think there is an entity involved in the creation of the universe.”

His thoughts aren’t unusual, and saying them publicly is becoming commonplace. Atheists even posted a billboard on state Route 94 west of Lemon Grove calling atheism a “personal relationship with reality.”

But is Morgan Freeman doubting the existence of a Creator a rare celebrity slip?  Or is belief in nonbelief becoming so common it’s unremarkable? Share your thoughts in the comments.
