72-Year-Old Lemon Grove Man Missing Again from His Home

Louis Lake Sr. was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday at his Central Avenue home. It's the second time he's gone missing this month.

Authorities asked for the public's help Monday in the search for a 72-year-old Lemon Grove man who walks with a cane, has some medical issues and is missing for the second time this month.

Louis Lake Sr. was last seen around 5 p.m. Sunday by his daughter at their residence in the 7000 block of Central Avenue, according to a missing persons bulletin from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

On Oct. 9, Lake's family reported him missing under similar circumstances. He was found unharmed by San Diego police early the next day.

The Sheriff's Department said Lake often walks to the trolley station or the 99 Cent store near Lemon Grove Avenue and Broadway.

He was described as black, 6 feet 4, 240 pounds, with short black and gray hair and brown eyes. He frequently wears a baseball or cowboy hat, authorities said.
