BREAKING: Report of a Downed Aircraft Appears to Be Hoax, CHP Says

California Highway Patrol officers searched for the downed aircraft reported by a witness. None was found.

A report of a downed aircraft on a highway in Lemon Grove appears to be false, California Highway Patrol officials said.

An officer with the San Diego office, which helped with the search for the reported aircraft, said no aircraft was found during a thorough search of the area.

According to the Union Tribune, CHP received a call at 8 a.m. reporting the aircraft was on Highway 94 and as many as three people were on board. The alleged witness also reported the aircraft caught fire, the paper reported.

The report caused a stir with authorities who spent a chunk of the morning scanning the highway to find the aircraft, officials said.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
