Driver Crashes Vehicle Into a Payless
The accident occurred about 10:45 a.m. at 4350 University Ave. in City Heights.
A vehicle crashed into a vacant Payless Shoe Shore today, and the driver was taken to a hospital to be checked out, a San Diego Fire Rescue dispatcher said.
The accident occurred about 10:45 a.m. at 4350 University Ave. near the La Maestra Health Center parking lot.
"It was a vehicle versus a structure," the dispatcher said. "One patient was transported to Mercy Hospital."

According to ABC 10 News, a woman in her 40s stepped on the gas instead of the brake.
