FBI Needs Help Identifying El Cajon Bank Robber

The FBI and El Cajon Police Department are asking the public to help identify an unknown female suspected in a robbery of an El Cajon bank on Friday.

According to the FBI, on Friday, July 22, at about 3:50 p.m., an unknown female robbed the Bank of the West, at 1234 East Main Street, in El Cajon. The suspect gave a demand note to the teller and claimed to have a weapon. After being given an unreported sum of money, the robber left the bank.

No weapon was observed and no injuries were reported.

Witnesses say and photos show the suspect to be a white female, thought to be in her mid 20s, about 5’6” tall, 135 lbs, and blonde or brown hair.
