Four Drivers Arrested at Lemon Grove Checkpoint

Drivers in the 7900 block of Broadway were checked for signs of impairment.

Four drivers were arrested for suspicion of DUI at a checkpoint conducted by the Sheriff’s Department Saturday night in Lemon Grove.

Deputies stopped vehicles near the 7900 block of Broadway between 8 p.m. and 2:30 a.m, checking licenses and looking for signs of impairment. The checkpoint screened 435 vehicles, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The detail was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
