Lemon Grove Crime and Arrest Report: Drugs, Drunk in Public, Vandalism
Local incidents of note, including recent arrests of Lemon Grove residents.

CRIME REPORT
A vehicle was reported stolen at 10 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 1500 block of Bakersfield Avenue.
Deputies have handled a number of drunk in public incidents in the past week:
—2:10 a.m Aug. 28 in the 3700 block of Hilltop Drive (two reports).
—3:10 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 7200 block of Broadway.
—12:47 a.m. Aug. 31 in the 7200 block of Broadway (two reports).
—9:45 p.m Aug. 31 at Main Street and Broadway.
—2:23 a.m Sept. 2 in the 7500 block of Madison Avenue.
Possession of a controlled substance was reported at:
—4 p.m Aug. 31 in the 7100 block of Broadway.
—6:57 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 3400 block of Main Street.
—8:21 a.m. Aug. 30 1600 block of Glencoe Drive.
A vehicle break-in was reported at 8 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 7800 block of Alton Drive.
Several incidents of vandalism were reported:
—7:30 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 7800 block of Lincoln Street.
—8 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 7800 block of Lincoln Street.
—10 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 7800 block of Lincoln Street.
—3 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 3200 block of Olive Street.

ARRESTS
Lance Bier, 48, of Lemon Grove was arrested Aug. 30 by the San Diego Sheriff's Department on suspicion of burglary.
Amanda Akiki, 28, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Aug. 30 by the San Diego Sheriff's Department on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Velma Smith, 19, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Aug. 27 by the San Diego Police Department on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Talal Asfar, 54, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Aug. 28 by the San Diego Sheriff's Department on suspicion of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury.
Aaron Fraser, 41, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Aug. 26 on an outstanding felony warrant.
