Lemon Grove Crime and Arrest Report: Assault, Pot, Burglary

Local incidents of note, including arrests of Lemon Grove residents.

Lemon Grove Patch posts a weekly crime report with information gathered from CrimeMapping.com, and a list of local residents recently arrested in San Diego County compiled from data provided by United Reporting’s Local Crime News service, and jail records.

CRIME REPORT

A vehicle was reported stolen at 12:05 a.m. Aug. 11 from the 7100 block of Westview Place.

Battery on a person was reported at 11: 54 p.m. Aug. 9 on the 8200 block of Vernier Road.

Assault with a deadly weapon--not a firearm was reported at 12:38 p.m. Aug. 9 on the 7100 block of Westview Place.

Deputies responded to a number of drunk in public calls on Broadway.

Marijuana/hashish was reportedly being sold or furnished at 12:15 a.m. Aug. 7 at Broadway and Massachusetts Ave., and at 12:23 a.m. Aug. 6 on the 3400 block of Main St.

ARRESTS

Lyman Hatch, 47, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Aug. 8 in San Diego County by the San Diego Police Department. Jail records indicate he is charged with burglary, theft and possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 21. He is being held on $30,000 bail at the George Bailey Detention Facility.
