Lemon Grove Crime and Arrest Report: Sex Crimes, Drugs, Assault

Lemon Grove Patch posts a weekly crime report with information gathered from CrimeMapping.com, and a list of local residents recently arrested in San Diego County compiled from data provided by United Reporting’s Local Crime News service, and jail records.

CRIME REPORT

Two incidents listed as "other sex crime" were reported, at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 3200 block of Massachusetts Ave., and at 4:50 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 3200 block of Main St.

Deputies responded to drunk in public incidents at 2:05 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 8000 block of Lemon Grove Way, and at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 7000 block of Russan Lane.

Drug-related incidents were reported Sept. 5, including possession of paraphernalia at 12:40 p.m. in the 7500 block of Pacific Ave.; transporting controlled substances at 6:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of Broadway, and at 7 p.m. in the 7300 block of Berry St.; and possession of controlled substances at 11:35 p.m. in the 2900 block of Central Ave.

An assault was reported at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 7900 block of Alton Drive.

ARRESTS

Brooke Christiani, 21, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Sept. 7 by the San Diego Police Department of suspicion of felony assault and vandalism.

Percy Anderson, 47, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Sept. 5 by the San Diego Sheriff’s Department on suspicion of felony assault.

David Wells, 53, of Lemon Grove, was arrested Sept. 4 by the San Diego Police Department. According to jail records, he is charged with one count of transporting controlled substances, and three counts of possession of controlled substances for sale. He is being held at the George Bailey Detention Center on $35,000 bail, and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 17.
