Lemon Grove Crime Report: Home Break-Ins on Mt. Vernon St. and La Corta St.

Car theft, drugs for sale, and drunk in public are among the other the incidents making the Sheriff's blotter.

Two residential burglaries were reported to the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Station in a nearly 24-hour period Friday and Saturday, according to CrimeMapping.com. Reports were taken for homes broken into at 6:20 a.m. July 19 on the 7700 block of Mt. Vernon Street, and at 8:07 a.m. July 20 on the 1600 block of La Corta Street.

Other crimes reported to the Sheriff's Department since last week include: 

Felony possession of a controlled substance: 2:30 p.m. July 20, 2400 block McKnight Drive.

Stolen vehicle: 12:23 p.m. July 20, 3200 block College Place.

Drunk in public: 2:38 a.m. July 19, Central Avenue/Vista Avenue.

Felony possession of a controlled substance for sale: 10:52 a.m. July 18, 1800 block Dayton Avenue.
