  • A 49-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of DUI in the early morning hours in the 2700 block of Mercury Drive.

Oct. 7

  • A stolen car was recovered in the 3400 block of Trophy Drive just after 10 a.m.
  • A minor was arrested in the 8400 block of Palm Street just after 2 p.m. for possession of marijuana on grounds during school activities.
  • A business in the 7000 block of Broadway reported an embezzlement by an employee. The loss was valued at $1,460.
  • A license plate was reported stolen in the 8200 block of Adams Street.
  • A strong-arm robbery was reported at a business in the 2700 block of Lemon Grove Avenue just before midnight. A case of liquor valued at $56 was reported stolen.

  • A theft of a purse from a vehicle was reported in the 3400 block of Washington Street. The loss was valued at $100.
  • A 42-year-old man was arrested for a felony parole violation in the 7500 block of North Avenue just after 9 p.m.

Oct. 9

  • A 44-year-old man was arrested for a felony parole violation in the early morning hours on Buena Vista Avenue and Broadway.

Oct. 11

  • A petty theft was reported at a business in the 7100 block of Broadway around 9 a.m.
  • A 20-year-old man was arrested for obstruct/resist officer by force and attempting to remove a firearm from a peace officer. The arrest was made at 1:48 p.m. in the 7900 block of Barton Drive.
