Lemon Grove Woman Claims Neighbor Sexually Battered Her

The alleged attack occurred about 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Hilltop Drive.

Sheriff's deputies from the Lemon Grove station were investigating this week a young woman's claim that her neighbor drugged her and tried to sexually assault her.

The alleged attack was reported about 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Hilltop Drive, near Broadway and Lemon Grove Way, according to sheriff's officials.

Medics took samples from the woman for evidence that could corroborate her claim; investigators on Wednesday were awaiting results, officials said.

The 20-year-old said she awakened to find her neighbor lying atop her, and her pants down, San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Greg Hampton told Patch.

"She thinks he slipped her a drug," Hampton told Patch in an interview.

No arrests were made but the investigation was continuing and if evidence points to sexual battery, the case will be submitted to the county District Attorney's office, Hampton said.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
