Lindbergh Field Security Breach Ends with Arrest

Authorities say a man was able to run onto the tarmac.

 A man was arrested at San Diego Lindbergh Field early today after he ran onto the tarmac, authorities said.

The man ran toward Gate 6 in Terminal 1 around 6:20 a.m. and was arrested by San Diego harbor police, according to airport officials.

Military police from nearby Marine Corps Recruit Depot were summoned, suggesting the suspect has an Armed Forces connection.

No other details were immediately released.
