Man Who Jumped to His Death on SR 94 Identified

Wesley Stewart Grove died on Aug. 2.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of the man that committed suicide on Aug. 2 by jumping off the Lemon Grove Avenue overpass onto state Route 94. 

Wesley Stewart Grove, age undisclosed, was observed by several witnesses jumping off the bridge onto the eastbound lanes of the highway at 5:48 p.m. Highway Patrol officers and paramedics attempted advanced cardiac life support, but Grove died at the scene.

An investigator with the medical examiner’s office said Grove’s city of residence, address and age are not available.
