Police Ask Public's Help in Finding Robbers

Authorities have released surveillance photos of two men who robbed a Spring Valley Convenience store in November.

Authorities hope surveillance photos released today will flush out the two men - one thin and the other obese -- who robbed a Spring Valley convenience store at gunpoint.

About 7 a.m. Nov. 30, the robbers, who wore bandanas over their faces, entered the BPS gas station at 9111 Campo Road. They pointed dark revolvers at an employee behind the counter and demanded cash, according to sheriff's officials and San Diego County Crime Stoppers.

As the employee opened the register, one suspect allegedly jumped over the counter and took the bills. The robbers then demanded more money, but the employee told them there was none since it was early morning, officials said.

The robbers were last seen running toward Citradora Street, officials said.

Both suspects were described as black, 18 to 25 years old, wearing black hooded sweatshirts.

One robber was heavyset, about 5 feet 6 and weighing 190 pounds. He was dressed in  black shorts, white socks and black shoes and had on white gloves.

The other robber was thin, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He wore black shorts, socks and shoes and blue gloves with the letters "KC" on them.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or online at sdcrimestoppers.com.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
