Robber With Knife Takes Cash from Adult Bookstore

The man was last seen wearing a towel over his head.

A knife-wielding man robbed an adult bookstore in Lemon Grove early today but no one was hurt, authorities said.

The robbery at Fantasyland Adult Books at 7656 Broadway was reported about 1:15 a.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities described the thief as a 20-something white man last seen wearing a towel over his head, a dark shirt and dark pants. How much money he stole was not immediately reported.
