Sheriff's Blotter: Domestic Violence, Burglaries, and Under the Influence

Incidents of note from the press board at the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Station.

Reports taken between Sept. 5-13:

A strong arm robbery was reported about 3:25 a.m. Sept. 13 on the 7900 block of Broadway. A 57-year-old man reported the loss of a cell phone, a wallet, an ATM card, and an ID card.

A hot prowl residential burglary was reported about 7:50 a.m. Sept. 13 on the 1600 block of Larwood Road. Property loss was listed as miscellaneous computer equipment, an electronic component, and a bag.

A stolen vehicle was reported about 2:55 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 7000 block of Mt. Vernon Street. The vehicle was a truck valued at $4,000.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public about 9 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 7200 block of Broadway.

A report taken about 10:25 p.m. Sept. 12 on the 2100 block of Siegle Court lists two victims of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, which was further specified as oral copulation with a person under 18 years old.

A stolen vehicle was recovered about 8:40 a.m. Sept. 12 on the 2800 block of Massachusetts Avenue.

A residential burglary was reported about 12:10 p.m. Sept. 11 on the 7200 block of San Miguel. Property loss includes construction equipment, tools, an iPod and other digital devices with a value totaling $3,400.

A report of a burglary in progress about 8 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 1600 block of Watwood Road. lead to the arrest of an 18-year-old man and a juvenile on charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. The man was also charged with giving a false identity.

A report of spousal abuse was taken about 11:50 p.m. Sept. 11 on the 8000 block of Lemon Grove Way. A 23-year-old man was arrested. The report states the victim suffered an apparent minor injury.

A stolen vehicle was recovered about 4:50 p.m. Sept. 10 on the 2900 block of Corona St. The four-door sedan was valued at $1,500.

A stolen vehicle was recovered about 6:55 p.m. Sept. 10 on the 8300 block of Elkhorn Street. The vehicle was a four-door sedan.

A battery was reported about 11:20 p.m. Sept. 10 on the 7800 block of Broadway. The report states an 18-year-old victim suffered an apparent minor injury.

A vehicle burglary was reported about 7:55 p.m. Sept. 9 on the 7000 block of Casa Lane. Loss was listed at $75.

A report of spousal abuse was taken about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 9 on the 6900 block of Federal Boulevard.

A report of spousal abuse was taken about 4 p.m. Sept. 9 on the 3200 block of Meadow Lane. The report states the victim has an apparent minor injury.

A 56-year-old man was cited about 9:15 p.m. Sept. 8 on the 3500 block of Grove Street on the suspicion of driving under the influence.

A commercial burglary was reported about 8:20 a.m. Sept. 8 on the 7900 block of Broadway. Property loss was valued at $700.

A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance about 1:20 a.m. Sept. 7 on the 3200 block of Olive Street.

A 35-year-old man was arrested about 4 p.m. Sept. 7 on the 3200 block of Buena Vista Avenue on a charge of spousal abuse.

A 36-year-old man was arrested about 12:20 p.m. Sept. 7 and charged with battery against a police officer, as was as being under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

The report of a disturbance lead the to arrest of a 45-year-old woman about 5 a.m. Sept. 7 on the 7600 block of Madison Avenue. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

A 43-year-old man was arrested about 1 p.m. Sept. 5 on the 7100 block on the suspicion of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested about 2:10 p.m. Sept. 5 on the 7500 block of Church Street and charged with spousal abuse and willful cruelty to a child without injury or death.
